POSITION: ASSEMBLY

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To use any one of the following pieces of equipment; clicker press, platen press, tack welder, adhesive dispensing equipment, and/or vulcanizing presses in accordance with Sealing Devices work instructions for the production of electronic shielding products to customer specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review the router for correct material, tooling, equipment selection, and delivery date.
• Set-up equipment as required by job router work center specifications.
• Perform in-process inspection as required, or take to quality control for inspection.
• Run the job to produce the correct quantity of product.
• Record accurate times and/or material deductions on the router for each job performed.
• Package job for shipment as designated on router.
• Follow and understand ISO work instructions for each area of the EMI fabrication department as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Follow all safety instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping as required.
• Assist in the training of new hires.
• Report quality and/or equipment problems to applicable supervisor and/or quality control.
• Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the fabrication system.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires general direction and guidance and has no supervisory responsibilities.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following skills including but not limited to reading, basic math, and machine
set-up.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to read and understand moderately complex instructions. Ability to work independently upon completion of training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is a physically active position requiring the ability to sit or stand up to 8 hours, bending, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The minimum requirement for this position is High School, GED, or vocational degree.
