POSITION: MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experienced with precision measurement tools & equipment
• CNC programming experience, Robotic programming preferred
• 2D or 3D Cad experience a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work with and provide direction to other people

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
Independently performs most assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval and proposed plans for projects.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a working knowledge of production tools, software, equipment and processes, and a high degree of mechanical aptitude.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, reports, and documents. Ability to effectively present information to management. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the ability to work in and move around all areas and equipment in the facility. Must be able to lift, push, pull, stoop, bend, climb and stand as the duties and responsibilities of the position dictate.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Adequate performance in this position requires a minimum of a 2 year technical degree (4 year degree preferred) and at least 5 years of progressive work related experience.
