Silicone O-Rings from Parker

Silicone O-rings provide good insulating properties

Silicone O-rings from Parker are available in all standard sizes. Silicone gaskets, custom silicone O-rings, gaskets and silicone seals with the hardness, color, and industry certifications you need.

Silicone O-rings features:

  • Resistant to: extreme temperatures, UV and ozone exposure, weathering and fungus;
  • Temperature range: -75° to 450 °F (-60 to 232°C);
  • Hardness range: 30 to 80 durometer Shore A;
  • Standard hardness: 70 durometer Shore A; and
  • Not for use with: silicone and petroleum-based oils, fuels and acids.

Silicone O-rings and Parker silicone elastomers have relatively low tensile strength and poor wear and tear resistance, but they possess good insulating properties. They also have good heat resistance, cold flexibility and insulating properties.
